ARE YOU THE FUTURE JENGA MASTER?? Its the fun thing to do at Trinity Hall this week! Sundays in Allen Starts @ 7 PM Wednesdays in Dallas Starts @ 8 PM First, the question may be what is Jenga? Its a simple game made from 54 blocks, the object as described by Wikipedia is to "remove one block at a time from the tower, and stack it on top. The last player to stack a block without making the tower fall wins the game" Of course there are one or two additional rules to make it a little more challenging. CONTEST PLAY: We will divide available contestants into pairs, and assign them to brackets, allowing 20 minutes per game, winning contestant moves forward in contest and loser steps aside. During competition, Players will be allowed up to 45 seconds to make a move, until the game has continued into the 16th minute when the time set allowed is reduced to 30 seconds, should the game continue into the 21st minute or beyond the available move time per round will be reduced by 5 seconds per additional round. PLAY 2. On your turn, carefully remove a block from anywhere BELOW the top three completed stories Then stack it on top of the tower, at right angles to the blocks just below it. - Each story must be completed before a new story is begun) 3. Removing and Stacking Blocks 4. Your turn ends 10 seconds after you stack your block-or as soon as the player to your left touches a block. 5. Keep removing and stacking blocks until the tower falls. A real pro can build a tower 36 stories high - or more! WHO WINS? WINNER WILL RECEIVE $ 25 Gift Certificate and the Runner Up will receive $ 20 Gift Certificate. Certificates will be valid for the winners next visit to Trinity Hall, and are not active until the following business day.
